Dr. Jaime Anger is a boarded Plastic Surgeon by the Brazilian Federal Board of Medicine and by the Brazilian Society of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Anger is also a Corresponding Member of the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. He is a Plastic Surgeon in the Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein. He is also the Plastic Surgeon at the Instituto de Cardiologia Dante Pazzanese.

Dr. Anger graduated at the Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de São Paulo (Medical School, University of Sao Paulo) in 1976. He completed in 1981 5 years of Residence Program . 2 years in General Surgery and more 3 years in Plastic Surgery at the Hospital das Clínicas da Universidade de São Paulo. During 1982 he was the Chief-Resident at the Surgery Department at the Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de São Paulo.

He participated at many curses, symposiums and Meetings He is very active in research. He published many scientific papers in international and national Journals.

In 1983 he began to work at the Burn Section at the do Hospital das Clínicas da Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de São Paulo. He gave lectures in Brazil and abroad about Burns and teached at the Medicine and Physiotherapy University. He published many articles and book chapters regarding Burns..

Dr. Anger was a member of the Board of Directors at the Brazilian Society of Plastic Surgery. He was a member from the Specialist Board . He is Founder Member of the Brazilian Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ABRACE) and the Chief Editor of the BAPS Journal (Brazilian Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Journal).

Dr. Anger works with the tissue expansion technique and he was one of the pioneers. He was a Faculty member in many meetings. He was invited as faculty member at the 1º, 2º e 3º International Tissue Expansion Symposium held in San Francisco, Marseille and Sapporo. He was the Chairman of the 4 International Tissue Expansion Symposium held in Sao Paulo in 1993.

He does all the aesthetic procedures including face lifting, blepharoplasty, breast reduction, abdominoplasty, rhinoplasty, peeling, liposuction, fat grafting and videoscopy . He was one of the pioneers in the axillary approach for breast augmentation with silicone-gel implants. He wan two prices with this topic - Georges Ariê award in 1995 and Prof Ivo Pitanguy award in 2000.

Dr. Jaime Anger was one of first to use the Ultrasonic Assisted Liposuction in Brazil with more than 800 cases since June 1997. In 2004 he introduced the use of the Lysonix 3000. He gave lectures in United States, Canadá, Mexico, Japan, Germany, France, Taiwan, Indonesia, Koreia, Thailand, Guatemala, Colombia, Chile, Paraguay, Uruguay, Bolivia, Peru and Argentina. He published a book on this topic in 2000.

In 2005 during the Annual Meeting of the ASAPS (American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery) held in New Orleans, Dr. Anger won the award given to the two best presentation during the ASAPS International Symposium. The topic was "The orbicularis oculi muscle treatment in the transconjunctival lower eyelid blepharoplasty". He also was awarded with the "Best Scientific Exhibit" with the topic: "Deep vein thrombosis in cosmetic plastic surgery: A prospective clinical study testing a new prophylaxis protocol". http://www.aserf.org/awards-exhibit.php
